Celebrating the Life of William “Bill” Osterberg, June 5, 2011

Goodbye, Dad. I’m going to miss you something fierce, but I’m glad you don’t have to deal with all that pain and the daily indignities of trying to keep the pain away.

And thank you, Michael, for making this photo when I couldn’t.

  1. Maggie – I’m sure you are a bundle of complex emotions right now and I encourage you to embrace them all. Be angry. Be sad. Be relieved. Take it in. Let it out. I’m glad MCB is there for you. You are loved, and not just by him. Hang in. — Joe r

I’m so sorry. I missed this when it happened. I lost my last surviving brother on 5/26 and have been out of touch. I think that you have exactly the right attitude about this. There comes a point where we realize that the suffering isn’t worth us keeping them here any longer – that they are better off passing no matter how much we will miss them. You have some great pictures of your dad. Thank you for sharing.

    Jeff
