Going Down To Wilber, NE

Czech Girls, August, 2005, originally uploaded by Maggie Osterberg.

Michael and I headed down to Wilber, Nebraska today, to stop in at Frank’s Smokehouse and Locker, home of not only some damn fine smoked meats and sausages, but some pretty good Czech rye bread, Cinnamon rolls and Kolaches.

Michael missed being here for Wilber’s Czech Days this year, but when we were there in 2005, it was a blast and Michael still raves about the authentic Czech dinner we had in the basement of the United Methodist Church.

I shot a roll of Kodak Portra 400NC, my first one of that film, so there should be some shots from that up at my Flickr in a few days.
